Technical Career Institutes Mission Statement:

Technical Career Institutes, an urban college, offers diverse groups access to careers in technology by providing state-of-the-industry curricula at the Associate's degree level in technological fields and related subjects.

This mission is inspired by a one hundred year heritage of scientific and tecnological education that began with the Nobel-pize winning founder guglielmo Marconi. It was continued during the school's years as the RCA Institutes and is now carried forward by Technical Career Institutes, commonly known as TCI College.

TCI College accomplishes its mission by providing:

-academic programs to the residents of the New York metropolitan area as well as to international students

-quality education and training to prepare a wide range of students for career entry or advancement in their chosen occupations

-technical and related programs enhanced by a structured liberal arts and sciences curriculum

-in-depth instruction in disciplinary content and methods through the teaching of both theory and hands-on applications

-training in the professional ethics of its disciplines

-an educational foundation that facilitates the transfer of graduates to bachelor's degree programs

-non-credit programs that address the needs and issues of the local community

-an environment that promotes life-long learning
