I have a question. My niece was recieving FSFA money while going to school in California. She changed her school code when she arrived in NC in July. It was processed on 9/4/07. Apparently NC State is saying she does not qualify for FSFA because she filed her Fsfa too late. She has been recieving FSFA money since she began school. Can you help me understand why she does not qualify. Her FSFA was filed in California before the cutoff date and she filed the change of school before the Sept 17 deadline. She will have to sit out this school year if she does not recieve money to help her with the costs. Does anyone know what are her options at this point. Her single parent helps her with her living expenses, but she is on her own for all other expenses including her tuition. Help is greatly appreciated.
